We Tried

We live about 5 miles from the great Oak Mountain State Park. We tried, as we always do, to go all the way down the mountain to see the base of the waterfall. We didn't make it this year cause Avery's legs didn't know how to be as long as ours. I bet next year we make it to the bottom.

The Garden

Birmingham has a great Botanical garden. The girls love it and I love taking my camera. I think that we get more out of this place than we could ever give as a donation.

Fambly Reunion

Had some great family time last month in the hills of Kentucky. The is my Mom's side of the fambly and we had a great fellowship. Cumberland Falls State Park is amazing.

We spent Memorial Day around the house. The girls have begun to race "bikes" down the front yard hill. Its comical. Here are some memories.

We had a great time at the lake. When do you have a bad time at the lake? The girls are getting sick of me saying "I want ONE more picture". They will have to get over it.

Grace had been begging...in a weak moment we relented...here are the results. I hate to admit it, she was right. She needed a haircut.

Easter is always a big deal around our house. As much for the new dresses as the celebration of rebirth. Here is the '09 version.
