Merry New year!

The time has come for the renewal of old resolutions, the resolution of failed promises, and the start of the rest of your life. This really could be said every morning. These days (with the kids) it seems that life is fluid. It moves fast and it's hard to hold on to. Grace's mouth can't keep up with her brain. Avery can light up the room with a smile...or clear the room with a squeal. At the end of the day it's all happening, and fast. As parents we set goal's or say " I can't wait till they do...." but we can wait. Most of life is between " I can't wait till they do...." and when they do it. You can wish your life away. My resolution this year is to wait...and watch. We had a great New Year's, blessed again by friends and family. Thanks to Scott and Robyn for leaving the blistering cold of Chicago, to spend a warm Holiday with us. Papaw Richard was also seen shooting fireworks around midnight. As always I took too many pictures. Click on the picture below to see A LOT more. I'll try to rein in the urge to take so many pics...but not too hard.
